GEA Team Honors 9/11 with Flag Remembrance

At 9:03 a.m. on September 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 175 struck the South Tower of the World Trade Center — a moment that, twenty-five years later, remains etched into the memory of our nation.

Today, the GEA Team flag flies in the Greene County Health Department parking lot, across from the GEA warehouse, as we pause to remember that moment and the countless lives forever changed that day.

The flag will remain aloft until noon in remembrance of the victims, the first responders and heroes who rushed toward danger, the families who carry the loss, and everyone whose life was altered on September 11, 2001.
