Position Job Title: Mechanic
Pay Range: Hourly
Title of Supervisor: Director of Operations
Position Summary:
• Performs a wide range of mechanical duties, including routine service, engine
tune-ups, hydraulic system repairs, truck inspections, and emergency repairs as
needed, including during overtime and emergency hours.
• Responds to and addresses truck breakdowns in the field to ensure timely
repairs and minimal operational downtime.
• Assist management in identifying vehicles for routine maintenance.
• Supports the oversight and coordination of the Fleet Maintenance Program to
ensure optimal vehicle performance and compliance.
• Maintains regular communication with suppliers and service providers to
coordinate parts, services, and vendor relations.

Minimum Required Qualification:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Maintain a valid Class A CDL driver’s license.
• Willing to attend training sessions relating to mechanics.
• Ability to work with other GEA employees.
• Experience and knowledge of all aspects of passenger and commercial vehicle
operations
• Requires stamina and physical capability to perform job duties as needed.
• Strictly adheres to all safety policies and procedures.
